Evidence For Policy

One of the important areas that GCI works in is the funding of initiatives that focus on the collation and synthesis of information and aims to bridge the gap between research and policy and facilitate evidence-based policymaking for public health in India across important theme areas such as nutrition, maternal and child health and infectious diseases.

This is a unique vertical which focuses on collecting and analyzing data from India, thereby making the evidence specific to the Indian context.

The flagship program in this vertical is the Knowledge Integration and Translational Platform (KniT) set up in 2016.
