It is a food-grade safe Minor Groove Binder that does not distort DNA structures & inhibit PCR as seen with intercalating DNA stains such as Ethidium Bromide and SYBR group of dyes. Compatible with all existing gel documentation, RT qPCR, and LAMP systems.
