Skill Development

As per the mandate of NBM skill development is identified as one of the key areas to provide grant funding to existing academic institutions/ agencies and help them develop new training programs to fill scientific business and R&D management knowledge gaps that have identified as current weaknesses in the industry. Training will target young professionals from recent PhD graduates to middle managers, including women) working in the sector to provide suitable human resource for product development and able staffing of shared facilities created under National Biopharma Mission.

Skill Development

The Mission supports trainings and workshops as per its mandate. Workshops in the areas of clinical research, regulatory compliances, technology transfer, biopharmaceuticals and medical devices have been majorly supported. As on date, about 6747 participants have been trained under different trainings and workshops under the National Biopharma Mission including 3081 female participants
