Translational Research Consortia is a Partnership Platform to ensure the translational ecosystem to improve, standardize and provide support for advancing development and evaluation of vaccines and monoclonal antibodies for two of the most prevalent viral diseases in the country – Dengue and Chikungunya. Each consortia consists of these key units a) Clinical Sites for access to Biological samples covering diverse geographical areas, b) Virology Platform to establish a viral isolates repository with characterized and phylogenetically mapped viral isolates c) Vaccine evaluation platforms which could support mAb development and relevant immunological assays, respectively, d) suitable animal facility or platform for development of models for testing in vivo immunogenicity and protection
