Expression of Interest (EOI) for “Selection of Recruitment Agency”

Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), a section 25 “Not-for-Profit Company” of Government of India has been set up as the interface agency of Department of Biotechnology (DBT) under the Ministry of Science and Technology. BIRAC aims to become a dynamic organization, applying unique methodologies for nurturing the high risk projects which hold potential for commercialization. BIRAC would like to position itself as an organisation nurturing and promoting innovation led research and will play an important role as a facilitator for enabling the innovator ecosystem for affordable product development through Public Private Partnership.

BIRAC invites Expression of Interest from eligible Recruitment Agencies to recruit professional candidates from various fields of science and biotechnology as well as professionals for support functions such as HR, Corporate Affairs, Finance, and Legal etc. The applications for the various posts (approximately 30 in no.) as mentioned above will be received by the Recruitment Agency for scrutiny, short-listing and further processing towards evaluation & final selection of the candidates.

Sealed EOI in the prescribed format under the two bid system are invited from interested, eligible Recruitment Agencies in accordance with the detailed Scope of Work (SoW), terms & conditions available in the link entitled “EOI Documents” provided here. All the relevant submissions should be made in hard copy in a sealed envelope to the concerned Official mentioned below:

    Note:

1. The evaluation and qualification criteria contained in the relevant documents of the EOI are indicative and can be revised based on future requirements. The prospective bidders are advised to refer to the website for any modification to the ‘Invitation for EOI’ and the bidders shall ensure that the Bid Documents submitted by them shall contain such modifications, failing which the bids are liable to be rejected.
2. BIRAC reserves the right to accept or reject any bid partly or fully or cancel the bidding without assigning any reasons thereof and in such case no bidder/ intending bidder shall have any claim arising of such action.
3. In case of any or above date is declared as holiday/ local holiday then the date will automatically get shifted to next working day.
